Event 1: Parents Night Out: Game Board Night, Age Group (3-12 years)
Date: Friday, October 13, Time – 6:00 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Mason Community Center, 6050 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040
This event is conducted every Friday to give the parents some time to enjoy their evening without having to wait or worry about the kids.
This event does not have any registration charges and the theme and the activities changes continuously to make it more exciting for the participants. For example, board games is planned for October 13th.
Though West Shore Pizza of Mason sponsors the pizza party that follows, it is advised that children carry some snacks and a drink for the evening.
Event 2: Family Fall Fest, Age Group (No restriction)
Date: Saturday, October 14, Time – 10:00 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Mason Community Center, 6050 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040
Join Ms. Cheryl, Miss Debbie, and the Teen Advisory Board at the Mason Community Center for a great time at Mason’s first annual Family Fall Fest. Wear your costume and join the costume parade, play games, and win prizes! Enjoy crafts, face painting, and glitter tattoos!
Enjoy live performances and meet representatives from over 40 local businesses including children’s programs, after-school enrichment programs, preschools, and day cares. Meet some of your favorite book characters! Collect goodies as you visit Trunk-n-Treat in the parking lot.
The Family Fall Fest is presented by North Cincy Family magazine together with the Mason Public Library and the city of Mason.
Event 3: Mason Corporate Challenge, Open to all corporate employees and their families
Date: Saturday, October 21, Time – 9 a.m. at City of Mason Golf Center | 6042 Fairway Drive, Mason OH
The Mason Corporate Challenge is a five km long walk or run challenge aimed simultaneously at improving the health and fitness levels of corporate employees and providing people an opportunity to give back to the society.
It also serves as a good networking event as multiple flagship companies get together which offers a healthy recruitment opportunity. About 95 percent of the proceeds from the event go back towards community building and other efforts.
Event 4: Shop Local, Open to All
Date: Wednesday, December 6, Time – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Mason Community Center, 6050 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040
No business meets your personalized needs like a local one does. They understand what the local community wants and comes up with such products.
Shop Local is a shopping extravaganza organized to showcase the works of local merchants and provide them a good business opportunity. You have the option of shopping at the Center itself and can also place orders for the holidays. Stores can register online for a minimal booth fee of $25.
Event 5: The Lynx Project: Autism Advocacy Project, Open to all
Date: Friday, October 27, Time – 7.30 p.m. onwards at Mason Middle School, 6370 Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, OH 45040
The project gives a musical voice to the words of 4 autistic kids in the form of newly commissioned art songs. These kids Ryan, Rithik, Sameer, and Rahul are primarily non-verbal and communicate by pointing to written words.
